Qualifications
Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent.
Minimum of 1-year experience in coordinating educational programs is required.
Must have knowledge of operating various computer software.
Must demonstrate excellent organizational skills and be self-motivated.
Must have the ability to provide services in English and
French.
Key Responsibilities
Provide education to hospital personnel as determined.
Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the general orientation program for hospital personnel, nursing, medical staff and students.
Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the objectives and examinations for Controlled Acts and Continuing Education for nursing personnel (using the College of Nurses Standard of Practice Guidelines), allied health and hospital personnel, and medical staff.
Maintains the Learning Management System (LMS) and provides training to Managers and staff on how to utilize the LMS.
Builds education modules and distributes to the appropriate staff via the LMS.
Coordinates management activities that affect medical, hospital and other health care agency staff.
Must acquire CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Instructor certification. Must provide CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention education to all hospital personnel.
Demonstrates, participates, adheres and contributes to a health and safety culture on a daily basis.
